16.6. Match Show

We have here so called match shows. There the dogs are put in pairs according to age or size. No matter what breed or gender the dogs are. The judging is like in normal shows, they judge how the pair works together and how well the dog behaves. One gets red ribbon and the other blue. Then in each category there is a ring for the reds and for the blues. Best four are rewarded and the winner goes to the BIS ring. So there are two BIS rings, BIS of reds and one for blues. On Saturday me and Silja took part in Sohvin Valinta match show. She got blue in adult class and was then 2nd in the adult blue class. We wond 3 kg dog food, snacks, a squeeky ball and a rosette. She did well.
